Noemi is a mother of four and a grandmother. Due to personal and financial reasons, she did not finish her formal education. She joined CMMB Peru’s health and nutrition program in 2010 as a beneficiary. Inspired to learn more and help others, Noemi joined the community health agent training program. Currently, she provides guidance to 22 families and three pregnant women in her community. She is respected by the women in La Esperanza because of her leadership and maturity. Most importantly, Noemi knows first hand the challenges these mothers face and their capacity to learn and grow.
