Brian has been managing the Simungoma Rural Health Post, with a catchment population of over 2,700, for more than 15 years. With substantial experience as a community health worker, he has also received training under the auspices of the Mwandi Mission Hospital. Brian sees nearly 20 clients each day with a variety of health care needs, including pregnant mothers. He says the biggest challenge facing patients from this remote community is the cost of transport to the mission hospital.
