Jackie Njoroge

Vice President, Digital Transformation & Operational Excellence, McKesson
Dr. Jackie Njoroge is a global Health, Strategy and Tech leader with a deep passion for helping developing countries progress towards true social and economic independence. She has extensive expertise in white space analysis, strategic business planning, Go to Market strategy, business modeling, mergers & acquisitions, consumer strategy and digital strategy.
Jackie spent over 10 years in biomedical and pharmacology research, where she worked on both traditional and novel drug mechanisms for preventing, treating, and controlling gastrointestinal diseases and Malaria. She augmented her passion for health care and strategy with her time at Boston Consulting group, and at Alcon where she defined the global strategy for digital enterprise business, and led global cross functional teams on execution of Alcon’s digital investments.
Currently, Jackie serves as Vice President of Digital Transformation & Operational Excellence at McKesson. In this role, she leads IT for Texas Oncology, one of the nation’s largest community oncology networks. She builds scalable, patient-centered solutions that align technology with business priorities—enhancing patient and provider experience, streamlining operations, and advancing cancer care.
Jackie holds a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Infectious Diseases from UT Southwestern Medical Center. She was a Japanese Ministry of Education Undergraduate Fellow, receiving a degree in Biochemistry/ Biochemical engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Jackie lives outside Fort Worth, Texas with her husband, two kids, two golden doodles and two adventurous cats.
Jackie joined the CMMB Board of Directors in 2023 and serves on the Program committee.
