In today’s Gospel, we come upon one of the most meaningful moments in our faith:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. – John 3:16-17

These words reflect Jesus’s hope for the world—one where its people are met with love, compassion, and salvation. But these words also firmly reflect expectations. Each of us can rise to meet them by leading every day with love.

At CMMB, we lead each day with love by staying true to our mission and our supporters. That means we live our values in action, serving always in collaboration—with our partners and those we serve—and with love, excellence, accountability, and respect.

Amid South Sudan’s ongoing cholera outbreak, these principles have been our foundation. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our partners, near and far, we’ve been able to deliver lifesaving resources where they’re needed most. Their compassion, paired with a commitment to excellence, continues to bring light and hope in the darkest of times.
