Louise is the baby of her family. Together with her mother, Germaine, uncle, and three older siblings, she lives in a remote and poor area of southern Haiti. Her mother has had to make some very hard choices in her life, including giving up children who she could not provide for when she was younger. Life continues to be a struggle even today. She never got to finish school and, as a result, her options in life are limited. At the moment she has no source of income and relies entirely on her older brother, Louise’s uncle, to provide for all her and her family’s needs. There is never enough food and it often lacks the nutrients needed in a healthy diet. The community health worker explains that they are all showing signs of malnutrition. Everyone is worried about Louise. While she is still being breastfed, soon she will move on to solid food and the family doesn’t know how they will manage to give her what she needs when they are already struggling so much.

We want Louise to get what she needs right from the start. She needs an Angel Investor to ensure she has access to a healthy meal and clean, safe water.
