Lourdes has great entrepreneurial talents and a vocation to serve vulnerable women and children in her community. She began volunteering as a community health agent for CMMB Peru in 2010. Her work was quickly recognized as outstanding, and in 2013, she was nominated for the regional award, “Heroines Toledo.”  This award is given by the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo to highlight entrepreneurship and leadership in the community. Lourdes has managed to inspire her entire family to get involved in volunteering, and they all support her role as a community health agent for the benefit of low-income families.
