Home: Gujarat, India.  Mona currently lives in Jersey City, NJ.

Education: Mona recently earned her master’s in Public Health from Long Island University.

CMMB Intern Role: Strategy and Innovation

Interesting Fact(s): Mona has organized health education events and workshops on diabetes management and planned a health outreach campaign on smoking cessation. She has a background in dentistry with a yearlong experience in the field.  From her time doing community dentistry in areas such as oral health education, outreach campaigns, and community health projects in India, Mona developed interest in pursuing further education in public health. She also volunteers with the American Red Cross in Disaster Cycle Services!
