Celebrating Fathers Around the World—Your Weekly Reflection

In today’s Gospel, Jesus offers reassurance to His disciples: “Do not be afraid.” He reminds them that they are known, cared for, and deeply valued by God. For us at CMMB, it is a continuation of a theme we know well from the Gospel—that we are seen by our heavenly Father.
On this Father’s Day, we give thanks for the fathers and father figures who reflect that same sense of care in our lives. They are often our first teachers in life, our dutiful encouragers, and our steady calm in moments of uncertainty. Through quiet acts of love and sacrifice, they remind us that we are valued.
At CMMB, we see this devotion in fathers around the world who are there for their families, often in the face of tremendous challenges and rigid social norms. Today, we celebrate their compassion and the ways they help their children feel seen and supported. You can read some of their stories, learn about the challenges they overcame, and feel inspired by the commitment they have pledged to their families.
To the father figures in the CMMB global community and around the world: Happy Father’s Day. Today we celebrate you!
