Extraordinary Lives, Quiet Acts of Love—Your Weekly Reflection

We walk away from reading today’s Gospel with a renewed understanding of our blessings.
Jesus speaks of the merciful, the peacemakers, and those who hunger for justice. On All Saints’ Day, we remember those who have lived these values. As we reflect on their lives and lessons, we remind ourselves that holiness can be found in the everyday ways we care for one another.
Saints are extraordinary people. But many lived their faith through simple, quiet acts of love. We see that same spirit in health workers who care for their neighbors, the community members who show up for families in need, and the people who dedicate their lives to helping others live with health and dignity.
At CMMB, we see daily reminders that each act of care matters. When we respond to another person’s needs with compassion, we share God’s blessings with the world.
This All Saints’ Day, may we recognize the goodness in those around us and find inspiration in their example. And may we continue to live our own faith through the small, meaningful ways we care for our brothers and sisters.
