“To be a little part of making the world healthier.” — Your Weekly Reflection

How do you see love reflected in your life? We see it in our relationships and our passions. We see it in our service to others, especially those whose voices are quiet and whose needs go unseen.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells us that the greatest commandments are rooted in love. For Joan, a longtime CMMB supporter, love has shaped a lifetime of service. From her career as a nurse and educator to her volunteer work in retirement, Joan has remained committed to the well-being of others.
Through her planned giving, she is extending that commitment into the future. “To be a little part of making the world healthier. That’s just amazing,” Joan shared.
Joan’s story reminds us that loving our neighbors can take many forms throughout our lives, and even beyond them. In recognition of National Estate Planning Awareness Week, it is an honor to share Joan’s story. You can learn more about Joan and how she is helping make the world a healthier place in her featured spotlight.
