With more than twenty years of experience, Jana is a seasoned and accomplished business strategist and marketing and communications leader. At KPMG, Jana is responsible for creating integrated marketing campaigns across a diversified solutions portfolio to drive growth, brand impact, and market differentiation. Her successful track record in marketing spans brand strategy, content development, media and industry analyst relations, alliance partner marketing, corporate communications, sponsorships, and digital media. Jana works collaboratively with healthcare and life sciences partners and professionals who have come to rely on her counsel in addressing a wide range of business issues. Her deep knowledge of the industries she serves allows her to meet the complex needs of a wide spectrum of nationally known healthcare providers, global pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device firms, and leading health insurance organizations.

Jana’s work aligns with her belief that healthcare is a virtuous industry with the potential for life-saving impact. She champions the notion that healthcare and education should not be privileges, but societal foundations allowing people throughout the world to lead full, healthy and dignified lives. Her passionate dedication to helping developing nations achieve greater access to healthcare and education is evidenced by her volunteer work. This includes working with organizations such as the Catholic charity ImaBridge, where she served on the board and supported ministries dedicated to providing access to healthcare, water, and education for underprivileged people in rural Nigeria, and with the Christian organization Family Legacy where she travels annually to Zambia to empower vulnerable children and orphans through faith and education.

Jana’s professional background includes a variety of marketing, branding and strategy roles at professional services organizations, as well as sales, marketing and product management positions at technology and telecommunications organizations in the U.S. and Latin America. She holds a bachelor’s of science degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University, during which time she studied abroad in Mexico City. Jana earned an MBA in international business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, and is fluent in Spanish.

She joined the CMMB Board of Directors in 2020 and serves on the Advancement Committee.
