I am Celebrating My Mother Because:

she’s given me more than I can thank her for. I’ve learned so much from her: from my sense of humor to my love of singing, I couldn’t have had a better first teacher.

How my mother has inspired me: 

My mom is a teacher, and I think that being raised by a loving mother who also knows how to educate a kid really gave me a head start and introduced me to the joy of learning at a young age. I’m especially inspired by the strong faith of my mom. Everyday she is willing to put the needs of others above her own – it was my first and most memorable exposure to sacrificial love – I’ll never forget.
