I am Celebrating My Mother Because:

She is the most wonderful and caring person I know.

How my mother has inspired me: 

My Mother’s life story inspires me. She grew up during the war and recalls stories of hiding in bomb shelters and hearing sirens going off all over during raids. She became a nurse and left her family in the Philippines to come to Canada so she could send money home to help her parents and 6 siblings. Now she is in her 76th year, she has battled breast cancer 3 times and won, has retired, still helps family back in the Philippines and in Canada, is a fantastic grandmother, mother, and loyal friend.
