of her amazing push to experience life in all its fullness.

How my mother has inspired me: 

During my teenage years I remember my Mom encouraging me to change schools, play sports, travel, be active at church and seek out unique experiences. Her constant ‘push’ was instrumental in developing my thirst for a life full of adventurous service starting with the Peace Corps in Africa at age 22 and a subsequent 30 years living on the continent where I was able to raise my own family. Her gift of seeking out the wonders of new experiences still inspires me.
