Monica Gomes

Education: Monica studies biology at Fairfield University. She will complete her degree in 2021.

CMMB Role: Intern for the Volunteer team

Why CMMB: Monica wanted to learn more about what it takes to deliver sustainable healthcare to the world’s most vulnerable communities. With a strong interest in child and maternal health, she was inspired by the work that CMMB does through the CHAMPS program. She plans to pursue a career in public health and believes that interning with CMMB will help her develop the skills she needs to understand health from a global perspective.
