In today’s Gospel, we read about a discussion Jesus had with religious leaders. It is during this conversation that we learn about the rules and values Jesus lives by. They differ from the rules the leaders expect Jesus to follow.

Consider reflecting on some of the rules that guide your own actions. There are many rules that communities share, like following traffic laws or paying for goods and services. But what about the personal rules we craft for ourselves? The rules that keep us centered—that help us find fulfillment in our actions.

Our Gospel reminds us to never lose sight of the meaning behind our values and the reasons we choose to follow them.

At CMMB, we are guided by our five core values of collaboration, love, excellence, accountability, and respect. These values drive our mission and maintain our trusted relationship with all of you, our compassionate supporters.

Thank you for believing in us as we put each value into action and give life to our mission.
