CMMB offers undergraduate and graduate students volunteer internship opportunities that support our US and international teams. Through the CMMB Internship, students are involved in tasks and projects critical to the day-to-day work of CMMB, gaining hands-on professional experience & exposure to global health programming in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
What you need to know before applying:
- Time Commitment: Interns must be able to meet the minimum service commitment of 150 hours for a single cycle (e.g., 2 days/week for 3 months, 4 days/ week for 1.5 months). Hours should primarily be completed within usual office hours (Mon-Fri, 9 am-5 pm)
- Our Internship Program is unpaid, and you must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of the internship.
- We offer college/university credit & other program credit opportunities, like Public Health Practicums, APEs, and Capstones for internships each semester.
- Our Internship Program is fully remote, and we welcome students who can work on Eastern Standard Time (EST). When possible, we accommodate in-person days for New York area-based students at our Midtown Manhattan office location.
