I am Celebrating My Mother Because:

She is Mama Linda to thousands across the world. From Zambia to Mali, from Washington DC to France, from Senegal to Haiti. She spreads love and authentic service wherever she goes.

How my mother has inspired me: 

Mama Linda raised five children in Africa. A task large enough she could have stopped there. But she didn’t. She also started literacy programs in Senegal, AIDS awareness and support circles in Mali, started micro businesses for women entrepreneurs, and a school for orphans in Zambia. And even when she is asked to go to Haiti, just to visit the CMMB hospital, she doesn’t just visit. She rallies her community to donate children’s clothing and takes two suitcases full to the children there. She spreads Gods love wherever she goes.
