Lead with Love—Your Weekly Reflection

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus challenges:
“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” – Luke 6:27-28
In moments of uncertainty, fear, or frustration, it may feel impossible to respond in love. And yet Jesus calls us to do just that—because progress is stalled with fear, and it is propelled by love.
For us at CMMB, love is not just an emotion; it is an action, a choice, and a guiding pillar. It moves us to care for a friend in need, commit ourselves to something bigger than ourselves, and serve those who cannot repay us. Love is what keeps us going, even when the path is unclear.
At CMMB, love is at the heart of everything we do. It is reflected in the compassion of healthcare workers, the resilience of communities, and the generosity of those who choose to help. Through love, lives are changed, hope is restored, and the most vulnerable among us find the support they need.
Last week, our global staff gathered in Kenya to reflect on our work and the impact we are making together. We saw firsthand just how much can be achieved when we lead with love.
May we carry that spirit forward in all we do.
