In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus speaks about the narrow gate or door. It is a reminder that while our faith is an invitation into His community, it is not without expectations. We are called to live a life of intention, a life grounded in value—so that when we knock, the door will open.

At CMMB, we see our work as an invitation to embody the good Samaritan. We are welcomed into communities and even into the homes of families to listen, to understand their struggles, and to walk alongside them in finding solutions. That is a sacred trust.

One of our core values is accountability, because this is an invitation we do not take lightly. It is a privilege to serve where hope sometimes feels out of reach, and we hold ourselves responsible for delivering on our promises with respect, dignity, and deep compassion.

As we approach World Water Week, we reaffirm that every invitation to serve must be met with purpose and integrity. Over the next several days, we will be sharing stories representing the hope that access to safe and reliable water has brought to communities: easing burdens, improving health, and restoring dignity. These are the moments that reflect what it means to live the values of our faith and mission.
