In his position, Albertus is responsible for working with the staff in all 54 facilities to ensure that they are using inventory management standards of the Ministry of Public Health and Population. He provides technical assistance and coaching for best practices in supply chain (including managing stocks, placing requests, tracking delivery, and reporting on impact). In this capacity, he is a crucial part of the Medical Donations Program’s work in Haiti, responsible for reporting facility needs, ensuring allocation of donations and monitoring delivery to the last mile.
With the efforts of Albertus, the facilities in the north of Haiti are receiving added support of their operations and learning best practices that they can use going forward. This is a step in the right direction, enabling the health system to provide the care that empowers Haitians to live full and fruitful lives!
Thank you, Albertus!
