Our Values, Your Impact
Reflecting on this past year, we see our values in action at every milestone. Our guiding principles of collaboration, love, excellence, accountability, and respect are at the very heart of our mission. Still, the impact driven by these values is possible only because of you.
This year, despite the burden of conflicts, we reached 1.4 million people worldwide with lifesaving support. Our Medical Donations Program distributed medicines and medical supplies to 32 countries.
In this annual report, we will share more of your impact in numbers, but you will also meet the people behind those numbers. Their stories of healing and resilience are a reality because of your unwavering generosity. We hope that you will see, as we do, how the roots of our values are intertwined in their experiences.
Our collaborations also branched out this year, toward transformational results. In partnership with Bristol Myers Squibb, we are playing a role in building the infrastructure and workforce to bring quality cancer care to rural Kenya. In Peru, CMMB-supported therapists and community health workers are fostering a culture of love, dignity, and respect for children living with disabilities.
Even amid the persistent violence in Haiti, the team’s holistic, dedicated approach to HIV/AIDS continues to earn recognition for excellence in service delivery. For this reason, we were selected to lead a similar prevention and treatment project in South Sudan. These are but a few examples of our values in action; more await you on the pages beyond.
