Edward J. Giniat serves as KPMG’s U.S. National Sector Leader for Healthcare and is a member of the Global Healthcare Steering Committee. KPMG LLP, the audit, tax and advisory firm, is the US member of the KPMG International Cooperative. KPMG International’s member firms have 189,000 professionals including partners in 152 countries.
With more than 35 years’ experience working with organizations across all sectors of the healthcare industry, Mr. Giniat serves in an audit and advisory role to clients ranging from not-for-profit, tax-exempt healthcare providers to major health plans to large multinational, publicly held life sciences enterprises. He is a frequent presenter on industry emerging trends and challenges and has authored numerous articles on the impact and implications of healthcare transformation. He formally served on the board of the American Hospital Association’s Health Forum. Mr. Giniat serves on the governance committee of CHRISTUS Health and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
Mr. Giniat joined the CMMB Board of Directors in 2012 and serves as the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, and is a member of the Audit Committee.
