Guibert, a father of five, is a lifelong resident of Côtes-de-Fer. He started volunteering with CMMB Haiti in 1995, as part of a nutritional rehabilitation program to reduce child mortality due to protein-energy malnutrition. By June 2014, Guibert was very experienced in the field and attended a training session to become certified as a community health worker within the standards of the Ministry of Health.

Guibert says, “Health is a priority in my life. Intensifying education sessions and outreach are essential to bring people to change their behavior. The standard of living is very precarious in Campeche. Helping vulnerable women, children, and their families is a challenge that I am committed to meet.”
