Jacqueline George
Jacqueline joined CMMB in 2019, bringing 25 years of experience in international development with over 15 years spent leading and managing large, complex, multi-year, multi-donor programs and international teams. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, program management, fundraising, strategic partnerships and communications. Previously, Jaqueline served as Regional Program Officer at CARE International UK, Country Program Manager at CARE Sudan, and Assistant Country Director at CARE South Sudan. Jacqueline also worked at UNDP as their Technical Donor Advisor in the South Sudan Referendum and has undertaken several consultancies with CARE, IOM, Danish Refugee Council, and Health Unlimited, among others. A dual South Sudan and British citizen, Jacqueline received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Juba and later a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of East London. Jacqueline plans to strengthen and expand programming in CMMB South Sudan and deepen CMMB’s strategic partnership with the host government, donors, and the Catholic church.
