With more than 40 years of experience, John Celentano is a strategic advisor to C-suite leaders in the life sciences industry. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, he held key executive positions including: president, Bristol-Myers Squibb Healthcare Group (Mead Johnson Nutrition, ConvaTec, and Medical Imaging); regional pharmaceutical president roles in emerging markets/Asia Pacific, Latin America/Canada, and Northern Europe/UK; senior vice president of human resources, public affairs and philanthropy; and senior vice president of strategy and productivity.

His public and private board experience includes: Teligent, Inc., YourEncore, Inc., JJ White Inc., Sancilio Pharmaceuticals Company, Inc., and Mead Johnson Nutrition.  John is an active volunteer in his local community and is a member of the Drexel University President’s Council.  He received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree in business administration from Drexel University.

Mr. Celentano served as Chairman of the CMMB Board of Directors from 2015 – 2017, completing his tenure in 2018 after a total of eleven years in service to the CMMB mission. He returned to the Board in 2020 and serves on the Governance & Nominations, and the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees.
