The Change We Embrace—Your Weekly Reflection
It is hard to believe we are less than two months from starting a new year. Consider where you were in January and where you are now. What changes have you faced? In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that change is a function of life. We cannot avoid it, so we must prepare for it—even embrace it.
Jesus reflects on change with his disciples. To help them understand, he shares the lesson of the fig tree:
“Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see these things happening, know that he is near, at the gates.”
At CMMB, our vision for healthier lives worldwide embraces change. But that does not make the process any easier. With change comes new learnings and challenges. With change comes renewed hope for a brighter future—one family and one community at a time.
Only with your support can our vision succeed. Thank you for helping us embrace change with joy, commitment, and faith in a better world. Thank you for helping us embrace change with joy, commitment, and faith in a better world.
