About: 

Alejandra is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University studying global health with prospective minors in Italian and science, technology & international affairs. She is a research assistant for a health equity lab on campus and has three years of experience volunteering with the Global Service Program at her high school, which partners with nonprofits such as WISER Kenya and Our Land Thailand. Originally from Venezuela, she also volunteers with DC Schools Project where she teaches immigrant workers English and helps them study for the American naturalization test.
