
Muna Muday
Home: Muna is originally from Somalia, but she was raised in Kenya.
Education: Muna has earned her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Public Health at Tennessee State University and she is currently a MPH Candidate with a concentration in Global Health at Vanderbilt University.
CMMB Intern Role: Supporting the programs team
Interesting Fact(s): Formerly a refugee born in the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya, Muna has a unique perspective on CMMB’s efforts. Now a US citizen, Muna has firsthand experiences to some of the health issues that many people in the developing world face. She serves on a board of directors for a local refugee resettlement agency in Nashville, Tennessee where she oversees and helps develop plans that best serve the refugee populations in different capacities!
