In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus performs a miracle. He feeds thousands with only five loaves of bread and two fish. It’s during the events leading up to this miracle that Jesus challenges his disciples to not just witness need, but to respond to it.

At CMMB, we see this Gospel message reflected in the work we do every day. Guided by the enduring principles of Catholic social teaching, we are called to uphold human dignity, care for the vulnerable, and respond to need with love and action.

From building clean water systems in Kitui to delivering medicine to displaced families in Bangladesh, our mission is rooted in recognizing the responsibility we share in building a more just and compassionate world.

This week, as we reflect on Jesus’s challenge to his disciples, we’re reminded that miracles often begin with what we are willing to give. Putting our faith in action does not mean we serve alone. It means we offer what we have and trust that love, solidarity, and community will multiply it.
