In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells his disciples to love one another. At CMMB, love is woven into every action we take. We give with love, and we serve with love. These truths are why love is among our values at CMMB.  

Why is love so powerful? Our Gospel tells us.  

“If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love,” Jesus said to his disciples.  

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us, and he did so out of love.  

“It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. This I command you: love one another.”  

There are many ways one might live Jesus’ commandment. At CMMB, we live it through service to our brothers and sisters around the world. Consider the love that’s present in your life and how you share it with others. There is no greater action than one that is taken out of love.
