Today marks the beginning of Holy Week, a time of reflection and reverence. In today’s Gospel, we follow Jesus through his Passion. During these events, we witness a love so profound—a love lived out in service, sacrifice, and fulfillment of His purpose.

Jesus knew what lay ahead. Yet, He chose to gather his disciples, to break bread with them, and to entrust them with his mission. He chose love, even in suffering. And in doing so, he chose fulfillment.

At CMMB, we are also called to fulfill a mission—to serve those in need with love, compassion, and dignity. One story that fills us with gratitude and a sense of fulfillment is of Ineś, a community health worker in Peru. In her community, anemia is prevalent and dangerous when left untreated.

The threat anemia poses, especially to children, is why Ineś shows up every day to care for families in need of health services and other support. Her presence brings hope. Her service brings healing. Her courage brings her faith to touch others. These are just a few reasons we chose to recognize Ineś during this month’s World Health Worker Week. You can read more about Ineś and how she helps fulfill our mission at CMMB.

We hold moments of fulfillment close to us at CMMB. But just as Jesus reminded his disciples, the mission continues. There is always more to do. More to give. More to heal. More love to spread.

As we begin this Holy Week, may we hold onto the inspiration that guides us as we walk in the footsteps of Jesus. This season, we wish you fulfillment in each act of compassion you share.
