Key Responsibilities

Technical and Program Support

  • Support CMMB’s positioning in the health sector, ensuring strategic alignment with global public health trends and thought leadership in this space.
  • Provide guidance on research and publication efforts to enhance CMMB’s visibility and credibility.
  • Support efforts to document and disseminate key program learnings internally and externally. Assist in organizing workshops and technical exchanges to build capacity within Country Offices (COs).

Market Intelligence and External Engagement

  • Identify and cultivate funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships, to support CMMB’s programs.
  • Support technical review of donor outreach materials, including concept notes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with institutional donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Represent CMMB at strategic forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance the organization’s influence and funding prospects.

Technical Advisory

  • Identify communities of practice and relevant networks for CMMB’s core program areas.
  • Establish partnerships with organizations and technical experts to enhance CMMB’s credibility and impact.
  • Support Country Leaders and technical leaders to plan for conference participation and technical engagements.
  • Provide technical input for strengthening health systems and research initiatives.

Operational and Program Effectiveness

  • As requested, review work planning, budgeting, and reporting for CO programs.
  • Support the integration of access to medicines into programmatic models where appropriate.
  • Assist in review of monitoring and evaluation data prepared by COs for incorporation into reports to donors and for assessing program effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relative discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in relative field.
  • Proven experience in program leadership, technical support, and fundraising within global health or development sectors.
  • Strong network of donors, partners, and technical experts in public health and related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in donor engagement, advocacy, and external representation.
  • Experience managing multi-country programs and leading high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable working for a faith-based organization.
  • Able to demonstrate CMMB’s core values in action: Collaboration, Love, Excellence, Accountability, and Respect

Engagement Term and Compensation

  • This is a six-month, fixed-term contract with a focus on program advancement and fundraising.
  • Competitive compensation will be offered based on experience and location.
  • Potential for extension depending on performance and funding.
  • This position will report to the CEO with input on performance from Country Office team members. The position will also coordinate with Development colleagues.

The pay for this role starts at $45,157 for 6 months. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
