Remembering Our Loved Ones—Your Weekly Reflection

Today, on All Souls’ Day, we remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. We cherish the moments we spent together, celebrate the impact they had on our lives, and light a candle in honor of their journey with Jesus.
Our Gospel comes from John 6:37-38, where Jesus says to the crowds: “Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.”
At CMMB, we live the will of our faith in mission, vision, and values. Jesus seeks to leave no one behind, no one forgotten. And so too does CMMB: in service of our brothers and sisters around the world and in gratitude to those who support our mission in life and legacy.
On All Souls’ Day, we dedicate our Gospel reflection to those who are no longer journeying with us here on earth and are now walking hand in hand with the Lord.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
