Signs in the New Year—Your Weekly Reflection
In today’s Gospel, the Magi set out without direction or a clear path forward, only trusting that a sign would appear to guide them. And it did—light in the form of a star.
Their journey reflects our own journey through life. We don’t always know how our path will unfold. Progress rarely starts with certainty. More often, it begins by noticing where light appears to us. Many times, for us at CMMB, that light reveals itself in the form of need.
The past year was shaped by responding to signs of need across the communities we serve and delivering hope. We are grateful to share a look back at some of our most meaningful stories from 2025. They reflect the same spirit of determination and care that we carry with us in this new year
As you move into this new chapter, consider what signs might be waiting to be seen. What demands our attention? How can we respond with purpose? The answers to these questions will keep us moving towards the light, however it reveals itself.
