Partner With Us

CMMB is a capable, experienced partner for corporations that want to forge a strong philanthropic alliance with a global healthcare organization committed to building sustainable capacity, and strengthening health systems and meeting the needs of families after conflict or disaster has disrupted their lives. U.S. health systems and other corporations, institutions, and organizations have supported our work in varying ways:

►By supporting specific programs: Financial support, through a single grant or multi-year commitment, will help us save lives through the activities of our Children and Mothers Partnerships (CHAMPS), whether in South Sudan as a result of Safe Motherhood activities or in Haiti at the Bishop Joseph M. Sullivan Center for Health.

►By making gifts in kind: As part of our Medical Donations Program, partners in the health, pharmaceutical, and medical supply industries draw from inventory or produce additional quantities to allocate to CMMB. We then receive, sort, ship, and distribute these critically needed pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products across more than 35 countries. In addition, U.S. health systems have donated gently used, still functional medical equipment and supplies.

►Through volunteerism: Engagement of employees can deepen corporate involvement. CMMB’s active Volunteer Program can arrange for short-term mission trips for professionals, with a focus on doctors, nurses, and public health specialists, but also including therapists, clinical lab specialists, radiologists, ultrasound and X-ray technicians, and dental hygienists, and individuals specializing in development and research, operations and communications. Corporate volunteers can also contribute without the need to travel to our international sites.  Short-term projects that utilize the skill set and expertise of your employees are also welcomed at CMMB. ►Other engagement:  What are your institutional goals? CMMB will collaborate with your corporate social responsibility, communications,  employee engagement, marketing teams, and others to help you achieve them. Our partners play a vital role in deepening the reach and impact of CMMB work, significantly improving the lives of vulnerable women and children. The generosity of foundation partners, through both single grants or multi-year commitments, has enabled CMMB to undertake such important projects as:

►In Haiti, construction of the Bishop Joseph M. Sullivan Center for Health, a community reference hospital in a remote corner of Haiti, whose residents previously had to travel two hours for comparable care.

►In Kenya, diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer that would otherwise have gone untreated.

►In an impoverished Andean area of Peru, remediating chronic malnutrition of mothers and improving the lives of the stigmatized, excluded families of children with disabilities—and bringing hope.

►In South Sudan, where maternal mortality is among the highest in the world, provision of an operating theater and an ambulance for emergency obstetric patients at Ezo Health Center and a blood bank and operating theater renovations at St. Therese Hospital in Nzara.

►Globally, meeting survivors’ short- and long-term needs after a disaster upends their lives.
