Lead with God’s Love – Your Weekly Catholic Reflection from CMMB
Today is Trinity Sunday, the day we celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinity, one God in three persons. The focus of the reading is the mystery of the Holy Spirit. God the Father: Out of love for the world, sent Jesus his Son into the world in order to save it. The Holy Spirit, through the death and resurrection of the Son, we have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Through the death and resurrection of the Son, we have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit. As three persons, God acts always as a God of love; he does not condemn the world but acts to save it.
This week we also return to the liturgical season of Ordinary Time. Because of the common use of the term “ordinary,” we might think that nothing important is going on. Yet, Ordinary Time challenges us to live our faith by extending kindness, mercy, forgiveness, and love.
It is clear, that the times we are living in are anything but “ordinary.” These challenging times call for us to show greater kindness, mercy, forgiveness, and above all, love.
At CMMB, we envision a world in which every human life is valued, and health and human dignity are shared by all. We hold true to this principle, striving to make it a reality so that one day each of us experiences a world in which our humanity is valued and we all possess great dignity. This is without exception. There is no room for hate. There is no room for racism.
Today, and everyday, we invite you to lead with love, as He does.
In grace and peace,
Bruce Wilkinson
