Academic Partners
Program Description
CMMB partners with universities in offering unique career development and research opportunities. In addition to long-term field placements where students can meet practicum and other academic requirements, CMMB partners with clinical programs to incorporate international community health experiences into academic programs for physical therapists and medical residents.
NYC Internships and virtual volunteering opportunities
The CMMB office in New York City is looking for organized and driven individuals to assist a number of departments including the volunteer program, marketing, development, and accounting. Our interns gain valuable real-world experience while supporting programs that serve women and children worldwide. Students from partner universities are able to receive academic credit for their work at CMMB New York.
Corporations, Foundations & Organizations
Health Systems, Corporations & Foundations Partnerships
CMMB delivers broader, longer-lasting impact in our work through our collaboration with a range of extraordinary partners, starting with local communities, and including national and local governments, businesses, other nonprofit organizations, foundations, and individual donors. We leverage the strengths, reach, and relationships of these partnerships to reach more vulnerable women and children in need and achieve greater success. Coordinating across multiple sectors to achieve larger-scale social change — a synergistic approach known as collective impact — is more effective than individual organizations working independently on isolated interventions.
